Many Europeans now see Christianity not only as false, but as an immoral and oppressive religion. This has led to “Christophobia” or disdain for the faith.

Unbelief—atheism and agnosticism—is the fastest growing “religion” in Europe. There is even a category of Europeans who call themselves Christian atheists—they belong to a church, but don’t believe in God.

Less than 3% of Europe's population is evangelical.

Less than 1% of the total population in a dozen European nations consider themselves evangelicals.

Evangelical churches in Europe are struggling to survive against cultural pulls and political opposition.
